XRecruiter wins Start-Up of the Year for revolutionising recruitment processes

In recognition of its pioneering efforts in redefining the recruitment landscape, start-up XRecruiter has won the national ‘Start-Up of the Year’ title in 2023 at a ceremony held at Star Casino on 25 November.

Established in August last year, XRecruiter aims to provide recruiters the best tools, resources, and support that will enable them to succeed in the industry while helping them build their own brands and take part in what is envisioned to be the world’s largest community of recruiters. Regardless of age group and gender, the start-up is helping aspiring business owners realise their dream of running their own company and working independently.

The company has achieved rapid growth and gained acclaim in a short period. Back in September, it won the Start-Up of the Year for Brisbane, during which time it had already surpassed its projected client count of 18 for 2023 by reaching 21. Since then their client base has surged to over 30, with an additional eight clients slated for launch between now and January 2024.

The business has garnered the attention of Shark Tank ‘shark’ Andrew Banks, the founder of recruitment giant Morgan & Banks, and has also secured former Oracle recruitment director Ben Blundell’s new business Candidate Path as a customer in the US.

Behind XRecruiter are two co-founders Declan Kluver (pictured, left) and Blake Thompson (pictured, right) who are part of the growing trend over the last five years of entrepreneurs under the age of 35. High-profile tech giants such as Mark Zuckerberg, aged 33, and the founders of $11.5 billion fintech Stripe, who are in their mid-20s, are prime examples this trend.
