Reef Distillers, a small business based in Yeppoon on Central Queensland’s Capricorn Coast, has secured three prestigious awards at the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) in London.
The boutique distillery’s Coral Sea Gin won the Spirit Bronze 2024 Award, while their Pacific Ocean Vodka and Capricorn Rosella Vodka both received Spirit Silver 2024 Awards.
Reef Distillers’ co-founder Laureth Rumble was “thrilled” to win the awards, which the team have earnt within 12 months launching their first products into the market. Rumble attributed the achievement to the continuous focus, enthusiasm and passion for the venture from her team.
“Winning these awards at the IWSC is a testament to our commitment to quality and innovation in crafting unique spirits that capture the essence of our region,” Rumble said. “Our Coral Sea Gin, Pacific Ocean Vodka, and Capricorn Rosella Vodka exemplify Reef Distillers’ mastery in blending distinct local flavours with exceptional craftsmanship, and I am so grateful for our head distiller, Shane, for bringing his immense talents to the table.

The IWSC is renowned as the most respected wine and spirits community on the global stage for its expertise and influence, and for championing the finest wines and spirits wherever in the world they are made.
