Advisor program for small-business owners launched

SANTA CLARA CA/USA – JULY 29 2017: Dell computer corporate facility and logo. Dell Inc. is a multinational computer technology company.

Dell has launched a new program to support Australian small businesses through dedicated technology advisors.

Small businesses account for nine out of 10 businesses in Australia, but data from the ABS shows that, as recently as 2015, half of all businesses didn’t have a web presence and two-thirds didn’t have a social media presence. With technology playing a greater role in business success, small-business owners need to be proactive about their IT to ensure they are equipped to deal with issues as they arise.

The Small Business Advisor program will provide business owners with their own Dell Small Business Advisor, who can help recommend the right solutions to ensure their business is running at full potential. The technology and advisory partnership affects customers across a range of business pillars, including security, productivity, services and new technology.

Small-business customers who take advantage of the program will have their purchase history on file, providing the ability to identify seamless integration of multiple technology products and ensuring simplicity when reordering. Advisors are conveniently available to contact via phone or chat, to help with tech questions at a time that suits. Dell is also offering financing support to small businesses.

Small Business Lead, Dell Australia and New Zealand, Sarah Calder said, “We’re seeing many small-22business owners who spend too much time and money trying to understand the best technology solutions for their business. We understand that IT decisions are complex, so Dell’s Small Business Advisors are there to help look at the big picture and offer scalable, custom-made technology solutions. IT challenges can also arise unexpectedly, so Small Business Advisors are just a phone call away to answer any questions, especially beneficial for businesses that lack full-time IT staff.”
