Canberra Innovation Network opens applications for two-day accelerator

Canberra Innovation Network has announced that its SME-24 Business Accelerator is now open for applications.

Now in its third year, the two-day intensive business accelerator is designed to encourage SMEs in the Canberra region to think differently and build upon their existing business skills and success to drive growth.

Chosen accelerator participants will be guided by growth and innovation experts, comprised of experienced entrepreneurs, venture investors and past participants who have benefitted from the program.

At the end of the program, participants will get to learn more about growth from the real-life experiences of local successful entrepreneurs. particularly how they achieved business success and the strategies that worked for them or otherwise.

They will also learn the methods and tools to achieve business growth and be given an opportunity to test new ideas and gain feedback in an immersive and collaborative environment frequented by founders of high-growth start-ups

“Something that SMEs struggle with is finding time to dedicate to business growth,” the profgram’s facilitator, Shashank Bokil, explained. “The SME Accelerator provides this time for SMEs to plan, build and execute an actionable business plan. It’s a fantastic way to level up the business alongside other ambitious SME leaders.”

The accelerator will be held on 20-21 May 2024 at the Canberra Innovation Network. Interested businesses are encouraged to submit an expression of interest or book a chat with the Canberra Innovation Network’s SME team.
