David Solnet is a Professor of Service Management and Service Work at the
University of Queensland (UQ) Business School. He co-leads the workforce
research team in the tourism group at the UQ Business School and has been a principal investigator on several state and national projects.
Professor Solnet is internationally recognised for his research, teaching and consulting on managing and leading service organisations. His research focuses on frontline employees and the relationships between management practices, employee attitudes and firm performance.
