Lisa Annese

Lisa Annese was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Diversity Council Australia (DCA) in June 2014. DCA is the country’s only independent, not-for-profit workplace diversity advisor, offering a unique knowledge bank of research, practice and expertise across diversity dimensions developed over nearly 30 years. Lisa has contributed widely to the public debate on issues relating to gender pay equity, paid parental leave, women in leadership, cultural diversity and workplace flexibility. Lisa’s previous roles include Member Services Director at DCA, Diversity Practitioner at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and the Workplace Gender Equality Agency where she developed the census of Australian Women in Leadership, the Business Achievement Awards and the Employer of Choice for Women citation. In 2004, Lisa co-authored ‘Chief Executives Unplugged: CEO’s Get Real About Women in the Workplace’ which was named a “must-read business book” by AFR/BOSS magazine.
