Birdy Bird is an entrepreneur and change-maker in the service of this movement. Their background in community arts, social enterprise, and Indigenous community development has brought them here to start a movement to educate other settler 'Australians' and fundraise over $200million in the next two generations. Land Back as a movement represents all that was taken when First Nations were dispossessed of their land. The story I tell myself, is that my family has gained wealth, health, education, and opportunity BECAUSE of our ability to work, own land, run businesses and be educated whilst generations of First Peoples were not.
