SME tech provider GoDaddy celebrates first anniversary down under

After a year in Australia, GoDaddy remains focused to grow its customers across different industries and sectors, by offering products and services that range from a simple online presence to a full suite of online productivity tools.

GoDaddy launched its Australian operations in July 2015. Today, the company works with over 14 million small businesses worldwide, providing domain names, websites, eCommerce, search engine visibility capabilities and a diverse range of productivity tools designed to fuel small business growth online.

GoDaddy is dedicated to helping local small businesses get online. Ms Tara Commerford, Country Manager Australia & New Zealand says, “There is an increasing focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. We want to help entrepreneurs and small businesses establish an online presence and find their place within the worldwide web.”

“The past year has been an exciting time for us and we remain passionate about helping Aussie small businesses grow and prosper. We look forward to new partnerships and continued innovation to help our customers grow their business,” says Commerford.

Over the past 12 months, GoDaddy rapidly grew and launched new product offerings with the expansion of hosting services to offer Cloud Servers and Bitnami-powered Cloud Applications. In addition, GoDaddy’s partnership with Vodafone saw it become the exclusive provider of all Domain Name and Website Builder products within Vodafone’s SMB platform, Marketplace. It also continues a global partnership with Microsoft to offer Office 365 for business.

The past year also saw the launch of GoDaddy’s first international marketing campaign across all markets, “Go You. GoDaddy” campaign. In Australia, the integrated marketing campaign includes television advertising, and also features local small business customers in advertisements across radio and online via GoDaddy’s website and social channels. The global marketing initiative centres on the resilience it takes to turn an idea into reality – speaking directly to Aussie small business owners who aspire to grow their ideas while acknowledging challenges along the way.

GoDaddy’s customers span different industries and sectors, with products and services that range from a simple online presence to a full suite of online productivity tools.

From Tasmania-based company – Daiquiri Isle to audience engagement company KP1, GoDaddy is providing a one-stop shop for small businesses to help them set up and grow their own ventures while continuing to provide them with 24/7 dedicated customer support.
