Parcel delivery made easier and cheaper

A cheaper parcel delivery option is now available to small business owners.

As Australia’s first door-to-door carbon neutral delivery service, Sendle continues to take Australia Post head on with “cheaper and less time consuming parcel delivery”.

“We’re doing everything we can to make parcel delivery simple and fair for small businesses. We are now cheaper and more convenient than the post office for sending parcels from 500g up to 25kg,” said James Chin Moody Founder and CEO of Sendle.

“What we’re offering is the option to send a satchel without needing to line up at the post office and without the need to pre-purchase in bulk to keep costs down. This makes the delivery process much more economical, efficient and effective for small to medium and micro businesses.”

Over the past two months, 1,000 Sendle customers have participated in a beta trial following direct customer feedback and suggestions to provide satchel delivery options.

Jacinta Astles, Executive Assistant and Office Manager of AIME Mentoring, has been using Sendle to deliver products purchased at the AIME Apparel store. Every AIME Apparel item sold goes straight back to the AIME program, supporting the organisation’s goal to reach 10,000 Indigenous kids across Australia each year by 2018.

“We send hundreds of deliveries each week for AIME Apparel, and the Sendle dashboard has been so useful in keeping track of the orders. We switched to Sendle a month ago and we use satchels for all our orders – it has been the best and cheapest delivery option we’ve used,” said Astles.
