Optus SMB has announced the launch of Loop Live, a subscription-based, digital substitute for fixed lines, which allows SMEs to quickly activate a fixed number on their mobile phones instead of old-fashioned desk phones.
Matthew Ball, Vice President of Optus SMB, said small-business owners have been the inspiration for the changes.
“Our customers tell us they want to grow their business. They are overtly aware that each time their phone rings, or an email is received, or an enquiry made via their website, that this could be their next customer or sale,” Ball said.
Ball said that Optus has taken on the feedback of their customers for the design of Loop Live and are excited to offer a product that helps Australian SMEs to never miss an opportunity – without lock-in contacts and even if they are not an Optus customer.
“Small-business owners simply go online, select their own fixed number and, in as little as 15 minutes, begin receiving customer calls on their mobile,” he said. “2018Loop Live makes it easy for small-business owners to benefit from innovative technology. With Loop Live, being away from the office doesn’t mean you have to miss an opportunity of any size,” Ball stated.
The solution offers:
Auto attendant: A fully automated virtual receptionist which greets and direct callers to specific areas or staff members.
Agent find: Optus Loop Live will automatically scan available employees and connect callers to them.
Collaboration: Owners can stay in touch with customers and employees wherever they are with a suite of collaborative features like desktop sharing, chat and audio/video conferencing.
In addition to being available online, Optus Loop is available in Optus Retail Stores.
