Make-A-Wish launch new charity initiative for SMEs

Make A Wish David Warner

Australian cricketer and Make-A-Wish ambassador David Warner has become the #1 member of Make-A-Wish Australia’s 100 Club, an exciting new way for SMEs to support the children’s charity.

David and Make-A-Wish are calling on tradies and hospitality, retail, service-based companies and family businesses to sign up to the club and make a significant impact on the life of a seriously ill child.

Officially launched this week, 100 Club is strictly limited to 100 members, and offers an affordable, exclusive membership-based program that gives businesses the incredible opportunity to fund a life-changing wish for a very sick kid through an annual, tax-deductible membership fee.

As a passionate supporter of Make-A-Wish, David Warner is thrilled to be the #1 100 Club member, and encourages Australian business owners to get on board while memberships are still available.

“As #1 member of Make-A-Wish Australia’s 100 Club, I’m proud to know that my membership has ensured one really sick child will receive the vital, healing power of a wish,” he said.

“For every Make-A-Wish wish that comes true, there are three more that this incredible organisation is currently unable to reach. Every membership means another wish can come true.”

The benefits of a 100 Club membership to SMEs are enormous, and go beyond the feel-good factor of knowing you’ve contributed to something pretty amazing – it is actually a smart investment for your business.

The 100 club memberships generate goodwill for your brand through your public commitment to supporting a great children’s charity. Being able to share with your customers and staff that your business is responsible for making a vital wish come true positions your business as a socially responsible and caring organisation – as well as being a wonderful thing to do!

Make-A-Wish has been granting life-changing wishes in Australia since 1985, giving seriously ill children hope for the future, strength to face the challenges of their illness, and joy from their incredible wish experience. As an organisation funded solely by donations, Make-A-Wish relies on the support of businesses and the community in order to make wishes come true.

100 Club memberships are selling now, but are strictly limited to100 members only. To find out more, businesses are encouraged to phone 1800 03 2260 or visit www.makeawish.org.au/100-club.
