The challenging thing with buying a franchise or starting a new business is you never know if it is going to work, or if it is the right one for you.

Imagine if you could ‘try before you buy’ a business with a little money down to get a real taste to see if it is the right match for you and your skills.

For over 20 years, Kevin Young’s Property Club has been working with and beside investors, educating and arming them with information to grow property portfolios across the country. The mission of Property Club is to equip people with the information so they can make the best possible decision for them, and they have extended this ethos to those looking for business opportunities.

As Australia’s most successful property investor and founder of Property Club, Kevin Young wanted to give entrepreneurial types the chance to buy into a franchise on a trial basis.

Kevin said for a $1000 a prospective franchisee could explore the ins and out of the opportunity with Property Club. ‘This way, the person gets a real insight into how we operate and the potential to build a business within a business,’ he said.

‘Not only do we teach all of our property mentors and franchisees how to build their own property portfolio, we also help them create an additional stream of income using our business model.

‘The secret to our success is helping people. Everything we do is about the win/win and this includes opening up the opportunity to people to invest.’

At the end of the trail period, there is a decision to make: to jump in with both feet and purchase a franchise or stay as a consultant and member of Property Club, benefiting from the tools, resources and education provided to over 80,000 members.

Kevin said the way we do business is based on the unique nature of Property Club’s free membership and free services.

‘Our business model is funded through property sales. By holding Real Estate Agent licences in all states, we are able to negotiate marketing fees and commissions from vendors, which in turn fund all the services we offer members,’ he said.

‘Part of these funds are allocated to the franchisee who establishes the sale, enabling them to run their business and generate profits.’

Property Club has certain qualities it looks for in a franchisee. They must be an experienced property investor, self-motivated, honest, have an entrepreneurial spirit and be customer-oriented, with a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ for Club members.

Having accumulated over 180 properties, Kevin uses as the basis of Property Club educational tools many of his learnings over the past 50 years.  Kevin achieved his financial security dream in his 20s after being inspired by a series of articles about how Australian millionaires achieved wealth, Kevin noticed a property theme.

‘I kept coming back to property as a way to become wealthy,’ he said. ‘Working three jobs I saved enough to buy my first property.

‘Now, I have helped created over 5000 property millionaires throughout the country, with a goal to reach 90,000.

‘What we are doing right now is helping people understand where to buy, what to buy and how to create security so their financial future is in their hands, not the government’s.

Our franchise ‘try before you buy’ model is also about helping people achieve this. Not only do we provide access to a successful business model but we also magnify the results by working with them on growing their property portfolio.’
