Social media is a great way to promote, market and grow your business, reaching the most people for the least expenditure.

When it comes to marketing Luxe Fitness, I primarily focus on social media as I believe it is the cheapest way to reach most people, and is a great way to get your brand in front of your target market.

It is helpful if your target market frequently uses social media, and is especially helpful if you are just starting out and have limited budget.

When I was starting out, I gave products in return for a social-media product review, as people trust the opinions of other people over what an advertisement says. That is why I believe social-media marketing works so well. I personally check my social-media accounts multiple times each day, every day, and often buy from brands I have seen on social-media platforms. Facebook and Instagram are the new-age magazines.

There are three keys to finding success through using social media for marketing…

1. Build a clear brand identity. Social media is a powerful tool that can help brands in building a clear identity, tone of voice and rapport with followers. This involves thinking like your target market, working out who they are and what they want, and then giving it to them. By trying to adopt the same habits and thought processes of your target market, you can better share your online and social-media content with them. Social media is a powerful tool in not only attracting your target market, but also in converting interest to sales — show them what they want, then show them where to buy it.

2. Connect with relevant influencers. Connecting with relevant influencers was a hugely successful tactic for me in gaining traction, increasing engagement and generating sales. So, rather than focusing on posting on your own page, encourage as many people as possible to post messages about your brand on social media, linking their pages to yours. This creates a direct flow of web traffic to you. Particularly successful for me was having influential people promoting our brand. The more people posted. spreading positive word of mouth, the more sales we made and the more our followers grew. This method worked time and time again. and is still my number-one tactic in using social media to grow a successful business.

3. Be consistent. It is so important to be consistent, as consumers are becoming more and more aware of authenticity, particularly from brands. Their perception of you, your brand and your product can be changed by just one bad post. When building a business through social media, always be sure to post creative content with a consistent aesthetic. And post regularly. This means your followers can know what to expect from you, and can make it a habit to check in and see what new content you have posted.
