Revo Fitness has been named the Outstanding Growth National Winner at this year’s Telstra Best of Business Awards, recognising the company’s expansion from a single suburban gym to a national fitness operator.
Established in 2012, Revo has grown from one independently owned site to more than 40 locations across Australia, supported by a structured rollout plan and a simplified commercial model. The business expects to reach 100 sites by 2027.
The Outstanding Growth award places Revo among eight national winners selected from more than 20,000 nominations.
Telstra’s assessment process included interviews with a judging panel featuring OzHarvest founder Ronnie Kahn AO, Amazon Web Services’ head of innovation Rob Findlay, Frank Green founder Benjamin Young, and Small Business Australia’s executive director Bill Lang.
Revo was recognised for its accessible membership model, extended opening hours and network of convenient locations, which Telstra said had supported consistent membership growth and strengthened the company’s position in the competitive fitness market.
The awards ceremony in Brisbane brought together national finalists for workshops, networking and industry discussions before the winners were announced.
Other award recipients included Rahma Health (Business of the Year, Accelerating Women, Championing Health), Social Protect (Building Communities), Comtrac (Embracing Innovation), DICE Australia (Indigenous Excellence) and Li-ion Energy (Promoting Sustainability).
