Women on Top to inspire female entrepreneurs in Melbourne

After a sold-out event in Sydney, Women On Top comes to Melbourne this week to help the city’s businesswomen get to the top.

The new women’s movement Women On Top is marching into Melbourne later this week to educate female entrepreneurs and in successful business skills. The event will help women who want to gain the knowledge, support and resilience to improve their career toolkit.

Women On Top aims to bridge the gap between entrepreneurial and corporate markets. It provides hands-on learning in creating effective daily routines for the workplace, prioritising work, devising creative and innovative industry tactics and maximising social-media policy.

Women On Top is committed to providing accessible, authentic, results-orientated educational experiences to Australian female leaders in both small businesses and corporate organisations.

‘We want women to rock up in their leisure-wear, not power suits. It’s all about authentic communication and education – and using this to get results,’ says Samantha Brown, founder of Women On Top. ‘Our aim is for a real, raw, stripped-back, no-nonsense event. This is not about women versus men, it’s about helping women overcome their own internal barriers.’

Successful and well-known Australian entrepreneurs and businesswomen will share their personal experience of what it takes to make a strong impression in industry. The speakers are:

  • Lisa Messenger – founder of the female business magazine Renegade Collective
  • Clare Bowditch – mother of three, ARIA award winning actress and founder of Big Hearted Business
  • Zoe Weldon – social-media and branding expert

Sydney’s sold-out event earlier this year proved there is a demand for supporting female leaders in Australia.

The event takes place this Friday, 4 December, between 9.am and 6 pm at Malvern Town Hall. For further information and ticket prices, visit the Women On Top website.
