Seedlab Australia Founder and CEO, Dr Hazel MacTavish-West (pictured), said that this latest cohort has already produced incredible products that are, for the most part, retail-ready, providing a unique opportunity for the Seedlab Australia team of experts to focus on upskilling participants across various crucial business processes and procedures.

“Every one of these businesses have amazing potential to assert their dominance in the FMCG industry and garner national presence,” MacTavish-West said.

Successful participants of Seedlab Australia’s were chosen after submitting a pitch video presented to Woolworths Category Managers at the Seedlab Woolworths EXPO.

“This is the first time that we’ve seen a cohort so far ahead of the game in terms of understanding and nailing their brand, identity, messaging, positioning, packaging and products from the very beginning,” MacTavish-West said.

Cultivate participants are also given direct access to successful FMCG industry experts with a wealth of knowledge, experience and tips for success through Seedlab Australia’s Live in Conversation and Seedlab Masterclass sessions, designed to educate and inspire.

“The opportunity to facilitate learning and provide invaluable industry know-how for these businesses is what truly excites me. The impact that Seedlab Australia has had on people’s lives is tremendous, and we continue to make dreams a reality for businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand,” MacTavish-West concluded.
