New co-working space music to distinguished ears

Dimension5 launch
CSL 100 Year Gala event

Dimension5 is inspired to collaborate with, co-create with and support people and businesses who are outstanding…the innovative, disruptive game-changers, leaders and emerging talent across diverse industries.

New Melbourne co-working space Dimension5 was officially launched last night by The Victorian Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade, Philip Dalidakis MP.

Designed as a co-working space to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, Dimension5 is a partnership between global ICT solutions and services provider Dimension Data Australia and Creative Universe.

Innovators, social entrepreneurs, government, education and business leaders are joining together to support the collaborative space, that is focused on developing more social innovation and fostering diversity and enterprise.

The launch’s guests included Federal Member for Melbourne Adam Bandt MP, CEO of LaunchVic Dr Pradeep Phillip, Chair of AICC Leon Kempler, Dimension Data CEO Rodd Cunico, Greenhill Chair Peter Hunt, Pitcher Partners’ Rohini Kappadath and Cisco Head of Corporate and Government Affairs Tim Fawcett.

Guests were serenaded in song by Tania de Jong AM – founder of Creative Universe, Creative Innovation Global and Creativity Australia, and acclaimed soprano. They were also entertained by Creativity Australia’s inclusive choir, With One Voice, made up of people from all faiths, cultures and backgrounds who come together on a weekly basis to share supper and a song.

Dimension5 is the brainchild of Tania, who said the collaboration fostered at high performing co-working spaces was a crucial ingredient to innovation. She says that in the age of digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence the human traits of courage, compassion, creativity, determination and innovation – that set us apart from machines – are more important than ever before.

‘Dimension5 is inspired to collaborate with, co-create with and support people and businesses who are outstanding…the innovative, disruptive game-changers, leaders and emerging talent across diverse industries,’ Tania said.

‘The elements of mentoring, shared resources and networking that exist in co-working spaces rapidly accelerate the opportunities available to early-stage entrepreneurs and also assist established businesses to be more innovative,’ she added.

‘Dimension5 aims to promote “positive human collisions”, spark innovation and entrepreneurship across technology, start-ups, business and social enterprises. It’s a place to go outside and beyond the traditional boxes…where anything is possible.’
