Happy holidays!

This is our final missive of 2018 so I’d like to wish you all a very happy and safe holidays and best wishes for 2019.

It has been another big year for Inside Small Business, and I’d like to thank you all for your support – without your continued engagement we wouldn’t continue to always appear in the top two results in online searches for “news for small business”!

Be sure to get yourselves a copy of our January quarterly print issue, which will be on the shelves on 2 January – you can also subscribe to the mag, at a discounted rate, via the “shop” page on the website. To help you make the most of the opportunities the New Year presents, the “year ahead” feature provides insights into the technologies that small businesses can use to operate more efficiently and expand their reach, and hacks to make life easier and less stressful, alongside a couple of potential roadblocks to look out for – and how to get over them.

The magazine also contains a feature on the Sharing Economy, digital marketing – including a great story on how businesses in one of the remotest regions of the land are leveraging it to attract customers – and another on the “whizz-bang” new technologies that are now within the scope, both in terms of cost and ease of use, of the smallest business. We intent this issue of the magazine to help debunk some of the myths around technology and enlighten you on the opportunities it provides whether you’re a sole trader or a growing enterprise.

2 January is also the day we will rejoin you online, with our first story on 2019 going up at 9 am sharp. I look forward to seeking out and sharing all the news that affects small business, tips and advice on every aspect of running a small business and telling the stories of your small-business journeys. Until then, keep safe and happy holidays!
