Increase on consumer confidence in the economy will help small firms to grow

Assistant Treasurer, Kelly O’Dwyer, says a great sense of optimism in the economy will help small firms to grow.

Consumer confidence is at its highest level in almost two years, buoyed by the change of prime minister in September.

‘There’s a great sense of optimism and there is a real sense of momentum … in order to give businesses, and particularly small businesses, the confidence to be able to grow even more,’ she told AAP after unveiling a painting commissioned for the national Shop Small campaign.
