Entrepreneurs’ mentor finalist in Telstra Business Women’s Awards

Grace Lever

Adelaide entrepreneur Grace Lever has been chosen as a finalist in the prestigious Telstra Business Women’s Awards. Grace, who has grown her eponymous brand phenomenally in the past 12 months has been selected in the ‘Young Business Women’s Award’ category for South Australia, recognising her achievements providing support for female business owners across Australia and beyond.

Grace was motivated to set up GraceLever.com when she identified a gap in the market to deliver useful, intelligent support for other female entrepreneurs and help them to “cut the fluff” and “stop dreaming, start doing”. Having run a number of her own successful businesses, she noticed that many other women were crying out for practical advice.

Channelling the knowledge, challenges and frustrations she had herself experienced, she launched GraceLever.com in 2014, providing realistic guidance and techniques to ensure other women are equipped to turn their ideas into a profitable, scalable, lifestyle businesses.

In less than two years Grace has connected with thousands of female entrepreneurs across the globe and taken the brand from zero to seven figures in less than 12 months. She has sold over 5000 tickets to her ‘Doing Days’, live workshops held in cities across Australia where attendees can learn practical, hands-on processes and proven strategies that can be applied to their own businesses.

She has over 1400 engaged members enrolled in her Doing Academy initiative, has over 10,000 women in her wider community, and each month her brand is in front of over three million worldwide online. Grace has recently launched her online offering in the US, with tens of thousands of American female entrepreneurs joining her community, hungry to learn from her expertise.

Grace says, “I’ve recently identified a movement of business women across Australia who are sick of not being taken seriously and are ready to roll up their sleeves and get ‘doing’ in their ventures – what I’ve named The Doing Revolution. Being chosen as a finalist in this esteemed awards program is so rewarding and is a credit to all the women in my community who work so hard and are really going places with their businesses.

“Having been chosen as a finalist in this renowned program last year, I’m so excited to be selected again, and to represent the many women across Australia who are embracing all the opportunities available to them and getting stuck in to create the business and lifestyle they deserve. I love watching women when they realise what they’re capable of…with just a little helping hand”

The Telstra Business Women’s Awards are in their 22nd year and reward the courage, leadership and creativity of Australia’s most brilliant businesswomen, those who play a critical role in raising the profile of women in business. Having been selected by a prestigious judging panel, the winner of the South Australian ‘Young Business Women’s Award’ category will be selected at a ceremony in Adelaide on 30 September.
