The ATO have developed a video to help SME owners use small business assist, their resource that provides quick, easy-to-read tax and super information.
The video, with step-by-step instructions, shows small-business owners how to get tailored information from a variety of websites on topics such as:
- registering for an ABN
- understanding and registering for GST
- knowing your responsibilities as an employer
- lodging activity statements.
It also explains how to book an after-hours call back or use web chat to speak to one of the ATO’s customer service officers about tax and super information at a time that’s convenient for you.
