It’s time to nominate your Top 50 Small Business Leaders

Every year the Inside Small Businesses Top 50 Small Business Leaders Report celebrates the diversity and achievements of the small-business sector, highlighting the founders and leaders who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to create one of the two million plus small businesses that are integral to our economy.

This year we would like to invite all our readers, contributors and the wider small-business community to nominate those they deem to be exceptional small business leaders.

To be considered, they must be the founder / CEO or head of a business of between one and twenty employees – the business can operate in any sector, be it primary production through to hi-tech, and we welcome nominations for social enterprises and NFPs as well as established commercial entities and start-ups.

We are looking for Small Business Leaders who demonstrate excellence in the one or more of the following areas:

  • Championing innovative thinking/technology/products/processes in the business.
  • Committing to sharing their knowledge with the wider small business community.
  • Overcoming significant challenges or setbacks to found and grow the business.
  • Having a broader impact on the world around them through initiatives in sustainability, diversity or partnerships with charitable organisations.

Nominations close in a couple of weeks’ time so please jump in and nominate the Small Business Leader who has most impressed you now. Here is a timeline detailing how this year’s Top 50 will unfold:

26 February 2020 – Nominations close

27 February 2020 – Nominees will be contacted directly and asked to provide a submission for their entry

18 March 2020 – Judging will commence

20 May 2020 – Winners announced
