The Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) is offering three-months of free access to practical marketing resources for Australian businesses impacted by COVID-19 through its newly-launched online marketing training hub.
The SME Marketing Hub will offer affected small businesses applied marketing tips and will also help connect them with professional marketers who will provide the needed support for their marketing activities.
AMI Chair Lynda Cavalera said that the Hub will enable SMEs to maximise their marketing efforts during these challenging times, providing them with carefully curated content and a directory of consultants from organisations across every sector of the economy.
“Through this practical and free initiative, AMI and its members are working to help Australian SMEs to get the best out of their marketing activities whilst charting their way out of COVID-19,” Cavalera said.
The initiative comes on the back of an AMI survey revealing that the onset of COVID-19 led to 52.9 per cent of businesses in Australia having to cope with reduced marketing expenditures, while 71.2 per cent reported that their marketing teams had been involved or highly involved in developing strategies responding to COVID-19.
“In a time when so many organisations are having to cut back on marketing expenditure, it is all the more important that businesses are leveraging the strength and capabilities of AMI accredited Certified Practising Marketers,” Cavalera said.
The SME Marketing Hub includes six modules that cover different elements of marketing, with online lessons, toolkits, tutorials, and advice included in the modules.
“Collaborating with senior marketers and making the resources effectively free for everyone now, ensures that marketers can obtain credible and practical advice access to marketing resources when they need it, or allow businesses to simply take up this opportunity for upskilling,” Cavalera said.
Access to the SME Hub is free for AMI Members and Affiliate Members. Non-Marketers who want to learn more about marketing can join AMI as Affiliate Members for free for the first three months, which will provide them access to the Hub.
