Louise Southall

Xero Economist, Louise Southall, has three decades of experience spanning economics and business advocacy, working with multiple business organisations, councils, government agencies and charities. Louise's mission is to share macroeconomic trends and how they impact small businesses and their advisors. This includes driving Xero's Small Business Insights, which is a unique small business data series tracking the performance of small businesses globally. Xero's analysis, coupled with Louise's insights, supports small businesses to better understand market conditions and plan ahead. Louise has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Newcastle, and a Master of Economics from Macquarie University.
