Dr Emma Black

Dr Emma Black is a mum of two, sole trader, and an experienced clinical psychologist. Emma is an approved supervising psychologist, published author of multiple journal articles, and women’s mental health expert. Emma works in private practice in Townsville, Australia, balancing motherhood and work. Emma has dedicated her career to her passion: supporting women and improving their wellbeing. In recent times, with lengthy waitlists, Emma missed working with women around pregnancy and postpartum. This led to her creating online programs to help the many women who couldn’t access appointments with her, because early motherhood isn’t always easy.
