Anita Aherne

Anita Aherne has over 30 years’ experience in marketing and sales. Anita has worked in industries from hospitality to interior design. When one of her children was diagnosed autistic, and being neurodiverse herself, Anita saw it as an opportunity to provide parents and carers with Australia’s first and only national Autism directory, Kids on the Spectrum. With lived experience she has established an online community that supports autistic individuals along with those small businesses who provide inclusive supports. Anita has reinvented the traditional directory and has established a thriving marketing platform that supports small business and the disability community.
